• Who We Are

You are now expected to be an active participant in people's lives.

Project Bionic began in 2009 with the mission to help brands meet the new challenges of the emerging social media and mobile world. The company is comprised of marketing strategists, creative writers, branding specialists and marketing analysts; bringing together the expertise necessary for a successful social media presence that drives results and meets a company's business objectives in an authentic and real way.

The significance of Social Media is self-evident.  Our goal is to help companies and brands harness and optimize this unique power.  You are now expected to be an active participant in people's lives.  There are rules, guidelines and format nuances that can make or break your presence in this new world.  We are your partner to help guide you through this critical process. It's a path that can be full of surprising obstacles and unforeseen forks in the road. Thankfully, we've traversed these routes many times over. We know the way. We're your Social Media Sherpa.

  • The Philosophy

    Social Media is a tool. It's a microphone. It's a comment card. It's a round table. It's a billboard. It's a therapist's office.

Social Media resides in the eye of the beholder. Some businesses see it as the holy grail, the answer to all their problems, a magic wand that will cure all that ails them and physically force new customers to buy their products. Other businesses see it as a fad, a nuisance, a medium to only engage with grudgingly.

The truth lies in the middle. Social Media is a tool. It's a microphone. It's a comment card. It's a round table. It's a billboard. It's a therapist's office. It can be many things, which is why Social Media is such a wonderful tool for brands. But it's not magic.

Social Media is not a flash in the pan. Social Media is not a smash and grab job. Social Media is not a sprint. Social Media is in it for the long haul. The most important aspect of a successful Social Media presence is the "boring" stuff: The consistent publishing of on-brand, well-written, engaging content. Diligent community management. Crisis management. Pro-active outreach. Harnessing and activating a strong, organic, inspired community. Culling data and using analytics to progress your strategy, learn about your community and improve your brand.

Unlike other marketing channels, it's not about one-off campaigns. You have to install a sustainable, consistent long-term plan. Otherwise, Social Media just doesn't work. Campaigns on Social Media can be excellent. Running well-designed contests is important. Adding great apps to your platforms can enhance the overall brand experience. All of this is essential (and they're projects we love tackling) but it's not the most important part of Social Media.

To truly succeed on Social Media, you have to play the long game, and that involves creating repeatable and sustainable processes. At Project Bionic, we believe that precision in day-to-day Social Media management is paramount. We stay present every day for every single one of our clients. Creating the best possible daily content and making sure the community is a blossoming, vibrant one - this is what gets us most excited.

  • Work With Us

Project Bionic is a comprehensive Social Media Marketing Agency. Currently located in the effervescent Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The company employs a small but rabid team of account executives, digital strategists, creative writers, branding specialists, analytics experts, raconteurs, scalawags and amateur rodeo clowns.

The Project Bionic team is unconcerned with outwardly superficial proclamations. Internally, we utilize a number of thorough processes that can be summed up as a symbiotic system of checks and balances. This ensures that we avoid stasis and always improve. We care about one thing: Excellence. It's that simple. If we aren't excellent in every facet of our operation, we've failed.

We take great pride in the communal aspect of our work. Almost every single member of our team works on every single client. This creates an emotional investment throughout the company that, we believe, is unique.

We are always looking for excellent people to join the team. If you are interested in working with Project Bionic, please send your resume to jobs@projectbionic.com.
